To fulfill our shared mission and vision MYE and MYEF offer a range of interconnected adventure education and experiential programs, courses, retreats and workshops. Sequenced to build skills, experience and confidence in the youth who participate, our programs are continually evolving in response to their needs and the dynamic nature of the world we all live in.

Becoming an MYE family member opens numerous possibilities and opportunities for highly motivated young people who demonstrate a commitment to their own learning and development; to service in their communities and are regular participants and contributors to the larger MYE program and community.

The entry point in the MYE journey is acceptance into the 25 day Wilderness Challenge program in south-west Montana. This is a full scholarship program for successful applicants. Here is how it works:

Student Selection

This is a three part process including a written application and personal interview, with a view to attending the MYE summer Wilderness Challenge program. At the present time MYE is accepting applications from 15-18 year olds living in southern California, south-west Montana and other selected US locations. In 2008 there are 60 places available in the summer wilderness program.
